Dr. Parthapratim Bishnu, M.S., M.Ch (Neurosurgery) is a distinguished neurosurgeon and currently serves as the Director of Neurosciences and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences (GEIMS), Dehradun, India. He completed his MBBS (1983) and M.S. in Surgery (1987) from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU), Varanasi, India, followed by M.Ch in Neurosurgery (1990) from the prestigious GB Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (GIPMER), Delhi University, India. His areas of expertise include microsurgery of complex brain tumors and skull base lesions (Neuro-Oncology), Functional Neurosurgery, and Minimally Access & Reconstructive Spine Surgery. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served as a faculty member and consultant at leading institutions across India, including Sri Chitra Thirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum; Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun; Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCI&RC), New Delhi; Institute of Neurosciences (IN-K), Kolkata; and Narayana Health RTIICS, Kolkata.
